At Aram Public School, every month unfolds a new chapter of growth, celebration, and learning. October 2025 is dedicated to “Self-Healing and Care for Eyes”, inspiring students to nurture mindfulness and well-being. Guided by our theme of Critical Thinking (பகுத்தறிவும் திறன்), students engage in meaningful activities that shape both intellect and character.From Navaratri Golu and Annual Day to AETS Tests and Astronomy Club sessions, every event reflects our commitment to holistic learning. Festivals like Ayudha Pooja and Diwali add cultural vibrance, while assemblies and zero-hour programs nurture creativity and leadership

ARAM Public School is a CBSE Senior Secondary School School located at Negamam, Pollachi, Coimbatore in Tamilnadu. Parent Orientation Session
- At Aram Community, we value strong partnerships with parents and believe in keeping them actively involved in their child’s academic journey. To support this, we host two Parent Orientation Sessions each year.
(Online Orientation – Beginning of the Academic Year):The academic year begins with an online orientation designed to share upcoming plans, new initiatives, and continuing programs. This session ensures parents are well-informed about the learning experiences and opportunities awaiting their children. In-Person Orientation – Mid-Year
Midway through the year, parents are invited to an in-person orientation. This session reviews progress, introduces new processes, and highlights plans for the remainder of the academic year, with a focus on how each initiative supports the child’s growth and success.

We Are Readers Celebration
- Every April, We Are Readers is celebrated with a range of engaging activities that bring the joy of reading to life. The celebration includes exciting events such as puppet shows, family-led dramas, speeches, and more, creating a vibrant atmosphere that encourages a love for reading across the community.
Festivals at Aram Community are celebrated with joy, unity, and cultural spirit. Students actively take part in traditions and activities that make each occasion special. Celebrations include Golu, Onam, Vinayagar Chaturthi, Diwali, Pongal, and Christmas, creating memorable experiences that bring the community together.

Assemblies At Aram Community
Assemblies are an integral part of school life, fostering values, knowledge, and a sense of togetherness.
- General Assembly (Every Monday): Includes flag hoisting, pledge, thought for the day, GK sharing, and an educator-led explanation of Thirukkural.
- Family Assembly (Grades 4–11): Students come together as a family unit to share learning and experiences.
- Appreciation Assembly (KG–Grade 2): Young learners are recognized and celebrated for their efforts and achievements.
- Character Assembly: Each child’s unique qualities and strengths are highlighted and appreciated.

Saturday Club
Saturdays open doors to creativity and skills. Students explore sports (Kho Kho, Football, Silambam, Archery…), arts and crafts (painting, pottery, embroidery…), skills (rifle shooting, baking, astronomy…), and performing arts (dance, Kummi).
Every Tuesday and Thursday, students engage in co-curricular pursuits such as classical and western dance, chess, skating, silambam, instrumental music, and astronomy—building confidence and creativity.
Held once every two months across different grade levels, competitions encourage participation, talent, and confidence. Achievements are regularly recognized with certificates.

Assemblies
Assemblies foster knowledge, values, and community spirit:
- Saturday Club: A platform to explore sports (Kho Kho, Football, Archery, Silambam…), arts and crafts (painting, pottery, embroidery…), skills (rifle shooting, baking, astronomy…), and performing arts (dance, Kummi).
- Zero Hour: Held every Tuesday and Thursday with activities like dance, chess, skating, silambam, instrumental music, and astronomy.
- Competitions: Organized once every two months for different grade groups, with certificates awarded for achievements.

Assemblies
- Aram Chronicles: A Grade 11-led initiative capturing community life through student writings, parent contributions, birthday charts, attendance recognitions, and educator reflections.
Wellness is central to life at Aram. Under iCare Health, we share:
- A monthly food menu with parental involvement.
- Parent recipes, circulated to the wider community.
- Self-healing mudras and their benefits for holistic well-being.

iCare Health – Wellness Initiatives
As part of the iCare Health program, several initiatives are taken to promote healthy living among students and parents alike:
- A monthly food menu is shared with students to encourage balanced eating habits.
- Parents’ recipes are featured and shared with the wider parent community, inspiring nutritious home practices.
- Self-healing mudras and their benefits are shared with parents, supporting holistic wellness and mindful living. Through these efforts, iCare Health nurtures both physical well-being and community connection.

Learning Beyond Classrooms
At Aram, students explore the world outside textbooks through experiential visits.
- Freedom Tour: Students visit historic freedom sites with their grandparents to connect with heritage and independence values.
- Post Office Visit (KG): Young learners explore how letters are sent and delivered.
- Handloom Visit: Students witness traditional weaving and learn about heritage crafts.
The Aram Run is held every year, bringing together students and parents to run for a cause and give back to the community. As part of the event, trees are planted in and around Senjerimalai, a medical camp is organized, and first-aid support is provided for emergencies. This annual initiative promotes fitness, social responsibility, and care for the environment.

Aram Chronicles
Aram Chronicles is a vibrant initiative introduced by our Grade 11 students to celebrate the spirit of the Aram Community. It brings together the voices of students, parents, and educators through engaging contributions and creative features.
Highlights include:
- Parent involvement and insights
- Student articles and creative contributions
- Monthly birthday chart of students
- Recognition of students with 100% attendance
- Educator contributions and reflections
This initiative fosters collaboration, recognition, and community bonding, making it a true chronicle of life at Aram.

Freedom Tour
The Freedom Tour at Aram Community provides students with a meaningful opportunity to learn about India’s rich heritage and the values of independence. Students of various grades visit important freedom sites, accompanied by their grandparents, making the experience both educational and deeply personal
This unique initiative not only connects students with history but also strengthens intergenerational bonds, as grandparents share stories and perspectives that bring the past to life.
