ARAM Public School is a CBSE Senior Secondary School School located at Negamam, Pollachi, Coimbatore in Tamilnadu. Assemblies At Aram Community
- General Assembly (Every Monday-G2 & Above) : Includes flag hoisting, pledge, thought for the day, GK questions, and an educator-led explanation of monthly theme, Thirukkural and Proverb.
- Pre-Primary Assembly : Pre-Primary Assembly (Pre-KG till G1): It will happen every Friday which gives confidence to the juniors to host their assembly with Educators guidance.
- Family Assembly (Grades 4โ11) : Students come together as a family to share learning and experiences led by their family leaders.
- Appreciation assembly(KGs till Grade 2) : Each child’s unique qualities and positive behavioural nature are highlighted like Friendly kid, Best buddy, Independent learner, critical thinker, etc. and are given stickers to make them celebrate their character and follow throughout their life.
- Character Assembly : Children with the best character in a class will be found and awarded a Character shield with their picture and wordings about them observed by their Educators to indicate the importance of possessing good character and encourage them to have it throughout their life.
Parent Orientation Session
- At Aram Community, we value strong partnerships with parents and believe in keeping them actively involved in their childโs academic journey. To support this, we host two Parent Orientation Sessions each year.
- (Online Orientation โ Beginning of the Academic Year) : The academic year begins with an online orientation designed to share upcoming plans, new initiatives, and continuing programs. This session ensures parents are well-informed about the learning experiences and opportunities awaiting their children.
- In-Person Orientation โ Mid-Year :
Midway through the year, parents are invited to an in-person orientation. This session reviews progress, introduces new processes, and highlights plans for the remainder of the academic year, with a focus on how each initiative supports the childโs growth and success.
Celebrations & Events
- Every April, We Are Readers is celebrated with a range of engaging activities that bring the joy of reading to life. The celebration includes exciting events such as puppet shows, family-led dramas, speeches, and more, creating a vibrant atmosphere that encourages a love for reading across the community.
Festivals at Aram Community are celebrated with joy, unity, and cultural spirit. Students actively take part in traditions and activities that make each occasion special. Celebrations include Golu, Onam, Vinayagar Chaturthi, Diwali, Pongal, and Christmas, creating memorable experiences that bring the community together.
Extra Curricular Activities
- Saturdays open doors to creativity and skills. Students explore sports (Kho Kho, Football, Silambam,Skating,Karate, Archeryโฆ), arts and crafts (painting, pottery, embroideryโฆ), skills (rifle shooting, baking,Chessโฆ), and performing arts (Dance, Kummi, Yoga).
- Students have around 20 clubs per year where they can participate in 3 activities.It is an optional programme for the interested students.
- Skilled coaches are appointed for the various Saturday Club activities.School transport facility is available for the Saturday Club participants.
Co-Curricular Activities
- Aram Competitions : To improve skills, boost confidence, encourage innovations and to build the students networking skills we conduct intraschool competitions periodically.Some of the competitions conducted this academic year are young innovators( junior scientists), thirukural recitation, creative writing, painting, etc.
- Marvellous Minds day(MM Day) : programme is a fantastic initiative that promotes a win-win situation where every student participates. By having senior students teach juniors, the program develops leadership skills, patience, and responsibility in the seniors while fostering a positive school culture where knowledge is shared and teamwork is strengthened. This innovative approach not only benefits the students but also creates a sense of community, making it a truly enriching experience for all involved.
- Astronomy club : Students will learn about heavenly bodies. They will have star-gazing session, museum visit, present an expo (Open Day) at the end of the year.
- It is an optional class, interested students can join.Classes will happen on Thursdays (about 20 classes per year).

Student-Crafted Monthly Calendar : At Aram Public School, creativity meets technology! Our students design and publish the monthly calendar, showcasing their skills in Canva โ a tool they’ve mastered in their Computer classes. They explore Canva’s features, adding their flair to make the calendar vibrant and engaging.
Poster Making with Canva : Students design event posters using Canva, showcasing creativity & digital skills!
I - Care Health โ Wellness Initiatives
- A monthly food menu is shared with students to encourage balanced eating habits.
- Parentsโ recipes are featured and shared with the wider parent community, inspiring nutritious home practices.
- Self-healing mudras and their benefits are shared with parents, supporting holistic wellness and mindful living. Through these efforts,ย I – Care Health nurtures both physical well-being and community connection.
Learning Beyond Classrooms
- Grade-wise students visit places related to their academic curriculum to gain real-life learning experiences.
- These visits help students connect classroom concepts with practical exposure.
- Some of the places visited during the field trip are IITs, Post Office, GeDee Naidu car Museum, Gass forest Museum,PSG GRD museum, Handloom Industries, Crocodile park,coir Mill.
- Such visits enhance studentsโ curiosity, observation skills, and subject understanding.
- This activity is an academic representation of each childโs learning throughout the current academic year.
- Students confidently present their academic learning in front of parents and the audience, which helps to improve their communication skills, subject clarity, and self-confidence.
- Students receive weekend projects or assignments through MS Teams.
- They complete the given tasks at home and upload their work in MS Teams within the specified time.
- This activity encourages student Independent learning, Creative thinking,Effective use of digital tools,Time management and responsibility.
Aram Chronicles
Aram Chronicles is a vibrant initiative introduced by our Grade 11 students to celebrate the spirit of the Aram Community. It brings together the voices of students, parents, and educators through engaging contributions and creative features.

Freedom Tour
The Freedom Tour at Aram Community provides students with a meaningful opportunity to learn about Indiaโs rich heritage and the values of independence. Students of various grades visit important freedom sites, accompanied by their grandparents, making the experience both educational and deeply personal.
This unique initiative not only connects students with history but also strengthens intergenerational bonds, as grandparents share stories and perspectives that bring the past to life.
